| Stephanie James Accepts New Position Stephanie James, Deputy Director of The Ellison Medical Foundation, has accepted a new position as Associate Director for Science, Grand Challenges in Global Health Initiative, Foundation for the National Institutes of Health, effective October 1, 2004. She will do there what she has done so well at The Ellison Medical Foundation, shape a new program from the ground up. Stephanie has served as Deputy Director of the foundation and Director of the Global Infectious Disease Program since 2001. The Global Infectious Disease Program now provides $20,000,000 in funding for scholars, projects, and training in research on parasitic and infectious diseases of major public health importance.
